TAKE THE FIRST STEP

Would you like to begin a conversation?

There is no obligation in speaking with us. Many clients find that a single quiet conversation clarifies what they actually need — and what they do not. We are glad to listen.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Questions we hear often

What is a living will and is it legally recognised in Thailand?

A living will is a written document in which a person sets out their wishes for medical care and personal arrangements in the event that they are no longer able to communicate those wishes. The National Health Act B.E. 2550 (2007) provides a basis for such directives in Thailand. We prepare these documents carefully and ensure they are witnessed appropriately so they can be understood and respected by the relevant parties.

How long does the process take?

That depends on the service and on you. A living will can typically be completed in two or three meetings spread over a few weeks. Lifetime gift documentation depends on the complexity of the assets involved. The estate plan with annual review begins with an initial series of conversations and then continues at whatever pace the client finds comfortable over subsequent years.

Can I change the document after it has been prepared?

Yes, in most circumstances. A living will or estate plan is a record of your wishes at a particular moment, and those wishes may change over time. Our annual review service is designed precisely for this — so that changes in your family situation or your priorities can be reflected in the written record without difficulty.

What is the cost and how is payment handled?

Our service fees are fixed: 4,600 THB for a living will and directive, 7,800 THB for lifetime gift documentation, and 14,000 THB per year for the estate plan with annual review. Payment is arranged at the close of the initial meeting and can be made by bank transfer. There are no hidden costs and the scope of each service is explained clearly before any work begins.

Is my information kept private?

All information you share with us is treated with complete professional discretion. We do not discuss client matters with third parties unless you have specifically asked us to coordinate with a family member or other professional involved in the arrangement.

Do I need to visit the office in person?

Some steps — particularly the witnessing of certain documents — do require an in-person meeting. Initial conversations, however, can often take place by telephone or video call if you prefer. We are glad to discuss what arrangement works best for you when you first make contact.
